Sauce Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce (adds deep umami)

  • 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce (optional, but adds rich complexity)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp fresh grated ginger (or 1 tsp ground)
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce or sriracha (adjust to heat preference)
  • 1/4 cup water

How to Make the Sauce:
  1. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, hoisin, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, chili sauce, water, and cornstarch.
