  3. Season the Patties:  Season the patties with the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper (adjust salt at the end).
  4. Mix the Gravy:  In a bowl, whisk together the brown gravy packets with the beef broth, garlic, and Worcestershire Sauce.
  5. Pour It On:  Pour that luscious gravy mixture evenly over the hamburger patties.
  6. Cook:  LOW for 5-6 hours HIGH for 3-5 hours.  Patties will be fork tender.
  7. Thicken the Gravy:  If you would like a thicker gravy, add the slurry to the liquid durning the last 30 minutes of cooking.  Adjust seasonings if need be.
  8. Serve and Enjoy:  Spoon that rich, savory gravy over each patty and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or butter noodles.

FAQs:

Can I use fresh hamburger patties instead of frozen?

Absolutely!  Just reduce the cooking time by about and hour since they'll cook faster.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes!  You can assemble everything in the crockpot the night before, cover it, and refrigerate.  In the morning, just set it to cook.

Can I double the recipe?

Definitely!  Just make sure your slow cooker is large enough, and add and extra 1/2 cup of broth or water.
