A while back while visiting my sister she made these Steel Cut Oats with Maple Glazed Bananas and I just can't get enough of them.
Steel cut oats have a much heartier texture that make this recipe the perfect morning get up and go! Oh and the maple glazed bananas...WOW! I can't wait to share this one with you so...

For this Steel Cut Oats with Maple Glazed Banana Recipe you will need a few simple ingredients:
- 1 c Steel Cut Oats
- 2 c Water
- 1/4 c Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 Banana
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Plant Milk
- Pinch of Salt
Thick, creamy, but still have a little bite to them.
Peel and slice your banana.
Add the maple syrup.
This will take 2-3 minutes.
If you find the oats are too thick for your liking just add a little plant milk.
And hey, while you're at it you might as well add a little extra maple syrup for good measure!

These Steel Cut Oats with Maple Glazed Bananas are creamy, sweet, and a little salty. They are the perfect cozy breakfast for those cool winter mornings.

Ingredients
- 1 c Steel Cut Oats
- 2 c Water
- 1/4 c Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 Banana
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Plant Milk
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the steel cut oats and cook according to the directions on the packaging.
- Peel and slice the banana
- Place a pan over medium/high heat and allow to get hot.
- Add the maple syrup, salt, and banana.
- Cook long enough for the syrup to caramelize and the bananas to brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour prepared steel cut oats in a bowl.
- If the oats are too thick for your liking add some plant milk.
- Add the peanut butter.
- Sprinkle on cinnamon
- Top with maple glazed bananas.
- Drizzle with a little extra maple syrup.
- Serve and Enjoy!
