Crockpot Herbed Chicken Dinner: A Cozy Set-It-and-Forget-It Favorite

All of the ingredients needed to make the Easy Crock Pot Herbed Chicken Dinner.

  • 4-6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 3 Carrots, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 3 Celery Stalks, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups Low Sodium Chicken Stock
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste






HOW TO MAKE CROCKPOT HERBED CHICKEN DINNER:
  1. Layer the Veggies:  Place carrots, onion, and celery in the bottom of your slow cooker.  
  2. Add the Chicken:  Lay the chicken breasts on top of the vegetables. 
  3. Season:  Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, garlic power, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over the chicken and vegetables.
  4. Pour in Stock:  Add the chicken stock to the pot, making sure everything is nestled nicely.  
  5. Cook Low and Slow:  Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and juicy.  
  6. Serve and Enjoy:  Plate it up as-is for a light meal, or pair with mashed potatoes, rice, or warm crusty bread for a heartier dish.
