Instant Pot Split Pea Soup Recipe

I love split pea soup.  There I said it.  I love it.  Sure it looks like baby poo, but I don't care because it's dang delicious!  You know what I like even better?  That I can make it in minutes using my Instant pot!

You brown your bacon, throw everything in, set it and forget it!  It's perfect for these busy weeknights we are all having!  I think you might be surprised by how much you really like this one, so let me show you how I make it!

Q: Can I make this vegan/vegetarian?
A:  So Easily.  Just replace the bacon with a couple dashes of liquid smoke and call it done!

Q:  I don't have an Instant Pot.  Can I make this in a crockpot or on the stove top?
A:  Absolutely!  I included instructions for both on the recipe card.

Q:  Why do you add the frozen peas in at the end?
A:  I'm not a fan of mushy soups, so I like the texture the peas give it.  Of course if it's not your thing you can leave it out.

  1. For international students, writing essays can be a headache, considering that English is not their first language. Compared to native English-speaking classmates, there is a natural disadvantage when it comes to composing essays. So how can English essays be written effectively? Actually, before writing an essay, we can read a large amount of literature. The more we read, the more knowledge we accumulate in our minds. As a result, the content of English essays will appear more enriched. After writing a first draft, if one lacks confidence, seeking assistance from HotEssay to provide English essay editing and proofreading services at is also an option. This process can improve the weaker sections of the essay, enhancing its overall quality and making a better impression on the supervisor, ultimately leading to higher scores.
