15 Minute Dumpling Soup Recipe

Sometimes the best recipes come from a good fridge forage.  You know, you dig through your fridge, pantry, freezer, whatever and see what you have, then whip something up.  That is exactly what this 15 Minute Dumpling Soup Recipe was inspired with.  

I saw someone eat a bowl of dumpling soup on a video and it just looked delicious.  I knew I had dumplings in my fridge, but I have no idea how to make dumpling soup.  I headed to my fridge grabbed all the Asian things and viola!  One of the best soups ever!  Best part it was ready in about 15 minutes.  If Asian food is your thing I know you are going to love this one!  Here is how I made it.  


Q: Do I have to use vegetable Dumplings?  
A:  No.  You can used whatever dumplings you like. 

Q:  So I have to use spinach?
A:  No, you can use kale, bok choy, or leave the greens out all together.  

Q:  Are the dumplings mushy?  
A: The less time you boil the dumplings the more al dente they will be 

** Shiitake mushrooms would also be excellent in this recipe.**
