Buffalo Chicken Tacos Recipe

INGREDEINTS:

For this Buffalo Chicken Taco Recipe you are going to need a few simple ingredients:

The ingredients needed to make Buffalo Chicken Tacos.

  • 4 cups Chicken Cooked and Shredded
  • 1/4 cup Hot Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Ground Pepper
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Nacho Cheese Flavored, flat bottom, Taco Shells
  • 2 Stalks Celery, Shredded
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Bleu Cheese or Ranch Dressing






INSTRUCTIONS:

  1.  Preheat the Oven:  Before you begin you will need to preheat the oven to 350°F/176°F
  2. Prepare the Sauce:  Place a small pan over medium/high heat.  Add the hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.  Mix together and bring to a simmer.  Once at a simmer, add the cream cheese and butter to the sauce.  Whisk together until melted and smooth.  
  3. Prepare the Chicken:  Shred the rotisserie chicken into bite-size pieces.  In a medium-size bowl, toss the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce until evenly coated.  
  4. Assemble the Tacos:  Place the taco shells into a baking dish.  Fill the shells evenly with the buffalo chicken filling.  Top with shredded cheese. 
  5. Bake:  Place in the preheated oven and bake just long enough for the cheese to melt and the shells to warm through.  
  6. Serve:  Remove the Buffalo Chicken Tacos from the oven.  Top with shredded celery, lettuce, more shredded cheese, bleu cheese or ranch dressing.  Serve hot and enjoy!

  1. NOTES:
To prepare the shredded chicken in a Instant Pot like I did:

Place 2 chicken breasts in the Instant Pot.
Season with Salt and Pepper.
Add 1 cup of chicken brother or water.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot and make sure the valve is set to Sealing.
Press the MANUAL button and set the timer for 10 minutes.
Once the timer has gone off, do a quick release, remove the lid, remove the chicken from the Instant Pot, and shred it with forks.
