Let's Get Started!

For this Cheap and Easy Chicken Parmesan Pizza Recipe you will need:

The ingredients needed to make the chicken parmesan pizza.

  • 1 2 pack Ready-Made Pizza Crust and Sauce Kit
  • 1 pack of Grilled Chicken Breast Strips
  • 2 c Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/2 c Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 c Panko Bread Crumbs
  • Basil
  • 1/4 c Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
To begin you will need to preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

The sauce smeared over the crust of the chicken parmesan pizza.

Next, spread the pre made sauce over the ready crust.

Another option would be to use leftover marinara.  That is amazing as well.

Basil and parmesan cheese sprinkled over the sauce on the pizza.

On top of that you will sprinkle the parmesan cheese and basil.

Grilled chicken being added to the pizza.

Now add HALF the package of grilled chicken.

Something else that would be a great addition here would be some yummy baby spinach!

Mozzarella sprinkled all over the pizza.

Add 1 c of Mozzarella Cheese.

A canister of grated parmesan cheese about to be sprinkled over the pizza.

Sprinkle some more Parmesan Cheese over the pizza.

Basil being added to the top of the chicken parmesan pizza.

Add a little more basil to the top as well.

Olive oil in a shallow pan over a flame on the stove.

Now pour the olive oil into a shallow pan and place over medium/high heat.

The crust of the chicken parmesan pizza being brushed with oil.

While the pan of oil is heating up, brush a little the crust.

The oiled crust of the chicken parmesan pizza being seasoned with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Combine the Italian seasoning and garlic powder in a small dish and sprinkle over the oiled crust.

This just give the crust some extra flavor and that "WOW" factor.

I have added parmesan cheese to it as well.

Panko bread crumbs and seasoning added to the oil in the pan.

Now add the Panko bread crumbs to the heated oil.
Add the remaining Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the pan along with a little salt and pepper.

Browned Panko bread crumbs in the pan.

Allow the bread crumbs to brown.

This doesn't take long at all so you want to keep your eye on it.

The seasoned, browned, panko bread sprinkled over the chicken parmesan pizza.

Add the crispy bread crumbs to the top of the pizza along with a little more basil.

The oven set to 425 for 8 minutes.

Place in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
