A Slimy Fizz Cocktail Recipe

Halloween is just around the corner and one thing I do is host a Halloween movie night with all my closest girlfriends. We select a movie, have all sorts of themed food, and of course...a signature cocktail!  This year I am partnering up with BACARDÍ® Superior rum and Sprite® to bring you this really fun Slimy Fizz!

This drink is super interactive and hits all of your senses with its SNAP, CRACKLE, FIZZ, and POP!  I know you're gonna love it so...

Let's Get Started!

For this Slimy Fizz Cocktail Recipe you will need a few simple ingredients:

• 2 oz of BACARDÍ® Superior rum
• 1 7.5 oz can of Sprite
• 2 Scoops of Lime Sherbet
• 1 Sachet of Pop Rocks
• Lime Juice, to rim glass

To begin you will need to rim your glass using lime juice and pop rocks. The pop rocks create a fun sound effect as texture to your drink.  

To rim your glass you will simply dip the rim in the lime juice and then...

Into the pop rocks.  

Next add the lime sherbet to the glass.  

This adds sweetness and a fun foaming effect.  

Now add the 2 oz. of BACARDÍ® Superior rum.  

You know I am all about seasonal living so using BACARDÍ® rum makes the most sense because of the cool bat on the bottle. Also, I like using BACARDÍ® rum in this drink because it's super smooth and just allows people to be themselves.  

Now pour in the Sprite®.  

This adds the fun fizz element to the drink.

I like to add a few drops of green food coloring for effect and add a cute straw as well!

Top it off with a few extra pop rocks and you are ready! Slimy Fizz Cocktail Recipe:

*Prep Time:  3 min *Cook Time: -- *Servings: 1 Cocktail

PRINTABLE RECIPE

Ingredients:

• 2 oz of BACARDÍ® Superior rum
• 1 7.5 oz can of Sprite
• 2 Scoops of Lime Sherbet
• 1 Sachet of Pop Rocks
• Lime Juice, to rim glass

Directions:

1. Rim the glass by dipping the rim of glass in lime juice then pop rocks.
2. Add the sherbet ice cream
3. Add the BACARDÍ® Superior rum
4. Add the Sprite
5. Add a few drops of green food coloring.
6. Serve and Enjoy!
