Celebrate the Season: Christmas Bucket List and Free Printable

It's December first, and I can officially shout from the mountain tops that the CHRISTMAS SEASON IS OFFICIALLY HERE!  Christmas is without a doubt my favorite holiday.  While the gifts are definitely a nice bonus, the best part about this season for me is the music, the traditions, the baking, just the overall spirit of the season.  So this year, being the seasonal junkie that I am, I came up with twelve practical ways you can celebrate the season with your family.

I'm calling it a Christmas Bucket List, but honestly these are just some of the ways my family and I make merry each year.  These are so organic, that I have already marked a few things off the list without trying.  The list goes as follows...

  • Deck the Halls
  • See a Local Christmas Play
  • Attend a Christmas Eve Service
  • Light Christmas Candles
  • Bake Cookies
  • Start an Advent Calendar
  • Watch Christmas Movies
  • Get Christmas Pajamas
  • Donate to Charity
  • Send Christmas Cards
  • Buy or Make a New Ornament
  • Go Caroling

To make things even more festive, I have created this adorable printable that is perfect to print off and place in a frame for all of your family to enjoy, place in your planner while you prepare for the month, any way you would like to use it.

And because I truly think of you all as friends I would love for you to share any images of the moments you check off of the list using the hashtag #ChristmaswithTheKitchenWife.  This way we can celebrate the season together!  I will even share some of your moments on my social media platforms (with your permission of course).

So pick up your free printable HERE and celebrate Christmas with me TODAY!

And as always...

Happy Reading, Happy Eating, and Happy Holidays,
~The Kitchen Wife~

  1. I'm not a fan of Christmas music, to be honest, I think that in December, it gets played everywhere, and there's too much of it. But I do like the live performances and the fact that many people play music on the streets during that time. I think it's much more soulful than studio versions of songs, and that's the reason I also download live versions of songs from mp3juice, and for me, it's a great alternative.

  2. What about music? Are there any free online platforms to listen to music? I would like to find some proven and safe option.

  3. To be honest, I still prefer to use various official platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Actually, it's quite a long dilemma and also an argument with a friend of mine. I think it's okay to pay for music, but he thinks it should be optional. My friend listens to music with Tubidy and says it's a great alternative. I think you could try this one too. I don’t know anything about security, but as far as I remember, it is recommended to install an antivirus on the service website just in case.

  4. A dog food feeder is a device designed to dispense food to your pet. It can come in various forms, including gravity-fed, automatic, or programmable feeders. These feeders help ensure that your dog receives regular meals, even when you're not available to feed them manually. They are convenient for pet owners with busy schedules and can help maintain a consistent feeding routine for your dog's health and well-being.
