Let's Get Started!

INGREDIENTS:

For this easy Creamy Ham and Cheese Ravioli Bake you will need a few simple ingredients:

  • 1 (25 oz) bag of Frozen Cheese Ravioli
  • 2 cups Cooked Ham, diced
  • 2 cups Frozen Peas
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Chopped Fresh Parsley, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat the oven:  Preheat your oven to 375°F/109°C.
  2. Make the Creamy Sauce:  In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.  Add the diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent.  Add the garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.  Add the diced had to the skillet and cook until heated through and brown.  Add the frozen peas to the skillet.  Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.  Stir in the salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.  Simmer for approximately 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.  Once the sauce thickens, remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until it is melted.
  3. Assemble the Bake:  Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.  Place the frozen ravioli in a single layer on the bottom of the baking dish.  Pour the sauce mixture over top of the frozen ravioli.
  4. Bake the Dish:  Cover the baking dish with foil and place in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.  Remove from the oven.  Remove the foil.  Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top and bake for another 10 minutes.  If you want the cheese to be brown and bubbly, place under the broiler for a couple minutes as I did.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:  Remove the baking dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.  Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.  Enjoy your Creamy Ham and Cheese Ravioli Bake with a side of garlic bread and a fresh salad for a complete meal.

TIPS AND TRICKS:

  • Substitute Ingredients:  You can use cooked chicken or turkey instead of ham for a different twist.
  • Add Vegetables:  If peas are not your thing, try spinach or broccoli for added nutrition and flavor.
  • Make Ahead:  Prepare the dish up to the baking step and refrigerate it.  When ready to serve, bake it as directed, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time if needed.
