This is a simple Homemade Tzatziki Sauce that is full of flavor and great for dips, sandwiches, pastas, you name it.
Best of all it uses simple ingredients that you probably have on hand and if you are a house divided such as ours, I included plant based alternatives as well. Let me show you how I made it.
TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:
Q: Do I have to use Persian cucumbers?
A: No. You can use regular cucumbers, but you will need to scoop out the seeds.
Q: Why do I have to squeeze out the liquid in the shredded cucumbers?
A: Because the sauce will be way too runny if you don't.
Q: Do I have to use fresh dill and lemon?
A: No. Dried and bottles work just fine.
