One Pot Cheesy Meatball and Pasta Bake Recipe

All across the country our kiddos are heading back to school.  The lazy days of summer are coming to a close and the busy grind of work, school, extra curricular activities, etc are about to take over.  It's exhausting.  I know for me having super quick and easy, one pot meals on hand are vital to keeping the evenings running smoothly.  One of my favorite recipes (if you can really even call it that) is my One Pot Cheesy Meatball and Pasta Bake Recipe.

It's a true one pot, dump and go meal, that you pop into the oven and go about your business until it's ready.  Oh and did I mention that is it absolutely delicious?  I'm really excited to share this one with you so let me show you how I make it!

TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:

Q: Do I have to use penne pasta?

A: No.  You can use one pound of any kind of pasta, but spaghetti can be a little tricky and you may need to babysit it a little more by stirring occasionally to keep it from sticking together.

Q:  Do I have to use frozen meatballs?

A:  Of course not, but know that this will change the prep time and cook time.  If you would like a great homemade meatball recipe I have one for you right HERE.

**PRO TIP**

If you like a crispier "crust" on the outside of your meatballs, and have a little extra time on your hands, I recommend throwing the meatballs into the air fryer or oven for about 10 minutes before adding them to the baking dish.  This will help create that crust on the outside of your meatball.
