Anchovy-Free Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe

I love a good Caesar Salad (I'll link my recipe HERE), but I am not a fan of the fishy taste that a traditional Caesar salad dressing can leave behind in your mouth.  Say what you will, but I can taste it, so can my husband, and we are not fans.  So I came up with this absolutely delicious Anchovy-Free Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe.

Anchovy-Free Caesar Salad Dressing in a jar, on the counter, with a spoon in front and a chicken ceasar salad behind.

This Anchovy-Free Caesar Salad Dressing has all the the salty, tangy flavor that you love in a traditional Caesar dressing with none of that fishy aftertaste.  It keeps in the refrigerator for about a week and the best part it uses simple ingredients that you probably already have at home.  Here is how you make it.  I hope you enjoy!

 TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:

Q:  Can this be made vegan?

A:  ABSOLUTELY!  Just swap out the regular mayonnaise for vegan mayonnaise and the regular Worcestershire sauce, but a vegan one.  All of the measurements remain the same, and the taste is identical.

Q:  Can I use Greek yogurt in place of the mayonnaise?

A:  Yes, but keep in mind the shelf live in the refrigerator will not be as long.  A couple of days verses a week.

Q:  I am not a fan of capers.  Do I have to use them.

A:  No, the dressing is delicious without them, but it will affect the flavor a little.

Q:  Can I use bottled lemon juice in place of the fresh?

A:  You 100% can replace the fresh with bottled.  I do it all the time and there is no difference in the flavor.

Q:  Can I use garlic powder in place of the minced garlic.

A:  Sure!  As long as you use some form of garlic.  I'm not sure we can be friends if you don't.
