For these Hot Italian Subs Sandwiches you will need a few simple ingredients:


  • Bread of your choice
  • Hard Salami
  • Pepperoni
  • Ham
  • Provolone Cheese, sliced
  • Onion, sliced
  • Banana Pepper Rings
  • Black Olives, sliced
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Zesty Italian Dressing
  • Oil






STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Prepare the Ingredients

Start by preparing all your ingredients.  Slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion thinly.  Cut the sub rolls in half, but don't slice all the way through.  You want to create a pocket for the fillings.  






2.  Assemble the Sub

Layer the bottom half of the roll with a generous amount of the Italian meats.  Start with salami, followed by the pepperoni, and then the ham.  









3.  Add the Cheese, Onions, Peppers, and Olives

To the meats with provolone cheese, sliced onions, banana pepper rings, and black olives.  In that orders.







4.  Toast the Sub

Preheat your broiler to HIGH.  Place the assembled sub on a baking sheet and place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and brown and bubbly.  








5.  Season and Dress

Add the lettuce and mayonnaise.  Then drizzle with the Italian dressing.  Sprinkle with a little Italian seasoning for added flavor.  








6.  Serve Hot

instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler on your oven to HIGH
  2. Lightly brush the outside of the bun with oil
  3. Place the oil side of the bun on a baking sheet and add the salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, onion, banana pepper rings, and place olive on the bread. 
  4. Place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted and browned.  
  5. Add the lettuce and mayonnaise.
  6. Fold the Hot Italian Sub Sandwich in half.
  7. Serve and Enjoy!
