It's here! It's finally here! The "BER" months are here and that can mean only one thing...time to break out my crockpot! I know, I know it's not quite time for Crocktober yet, but I just couldn't help myself and I have one deliciously amazing recipe for you today! Today I am sharing my Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken.
This recipe only take a few simple ingredients, but MAN-OH-MAN is the flavor out-of-this-world! I know you're gonna love it so...
Let's Get Started!
One of the things I really love about this recipe is that the ingredients are simple and are items you probably already have on hand. For this Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken you are going to need:
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (you can also use thigh or tenderloins)
- 1 8 oz Block of Cream Cheese at room temperature
- 1 Packet of Italian Dressing Mix
- 1 15 oz can of Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
To begin I like to spray my crockpot with some non-stick spray. This will help to keep the gravy from sticking to the sides.
Next, add the chicken to the bottom of the crockpot.
Now sprinkle the Italian Dressing all over the chicken so that each piece is LIBERALLY coated.
Now set your crockpot to LOW for 4 hours.
When there is 1 hour of cook time left, you will need to mix together the cream of mushroom soup and cream cheese.
Pour the soup and cream cheese mixture over the chicken.
Cover and cook 1 more hour.
After one hour you will remove the chicken from the crockpot and place on a plate to the side.
Looking in your crockpot you are going to think"EW, this chick is crazy! This looks like curdled cheese!" Don't panic. All you need to do is take your whisk and whisk the gravy until smooth.
See! No worries! Look at how silky smooth that luscious sauce is now.
Next take a couple of forks and break apart the chicken.
Then return the shredded chicken to the gravy and stir everything together.
And it's that simple! Your Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken is finished! I love to serve this over a fluffy bed of homemade mashed potatoes alongside a nice, crunchy side salad. It really is the perfect easy weeknight meal and I know everyone in your family is going to love it!
So let's get to celebrating the "BER" months and get in the kitchen and make it tonight!
And as always...
Happy Reading, Happy Eating, and Happy Living,
