The Ultimate Bacon BLT with Sriracha Mayo Recipe

INGREDEINTS:

For this Ultimate Candied Bacon BLT with Sriracha Mayo Recipe you will need to gather a few simple ingredients.  





The ingredients needed to make the Candied Bacon BLT's with Sriracha Mayonnaise.








For the Candied Bacon:
  • 16 slices of Thick-Cut Bacon 
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar 
For the Sriracha Mayo:
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 tsp Lime Juice
For the BLT:
  • 8 Slices of your favorite Bread (toasted)
  • Sliced Cheese
  • 2 cups of Fresh Lettuce Leaves
  • 2 Large Tomatoes, sliced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste







INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Prepare the Candied Bacon:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C)
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.  
  • In a resealable bag add the brown sugar.  
  • Add the bacon to the resealable bag and massage the bacon in the sugar until everything is well coated. 
  • Lay the bacon slices on the wire rack and sprinkle the excess brown sugar mixture evenly over each slice.  
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.  Remove from oven and let cool. 
2.  Make the Sriracha Mayo:
  • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lime juice.  Mix until well blended. adjust the sriracha for desired heat level. 

3.  Assemble the BLT:
  • Toast the bread slices to your liking.
  • Spread a generous amount of sriracha mayo on each slice of toasted bread. 
  • Layer the cheese, lettuce, and tomato slices.
  • Add the candied bacon slices on top. 
  • Season with salt and pepper. 
  • Top each sandwich with remaining bread slice.
4.  Serve and Enjoy:
  • Cut the sandwiches in half if desired and serve immediately.  Enjoy the irresistible combination of flavors and textures in every bite.

  • Choose thick-cut Bacon:  Thick-cut bacon works best for candying as it holds up well to the caramelization process.    
  • Adjust the Heat:  If you prefer a spicier kick, add a little cayenne pepper to the brown sugar.  
  • Fresh Ingredients:  Use the freshest lettuce and ripest tomatoes for the best flavor.
