Crockpot Peanut Cluster Candy

Has this been a great week or what!?!

I know for me it has, and I KNOW it has for Studhubs!  (He thanks you all for this by the way.)  We have chocolate on every counter of my kitchen, and the hits just keep on coming! Today I am going to share one of my very favorite candies, peanut clusters.  Now I have to said more than once that I do not do fussy.  When it comes to candies and baking, I like it easy These candies could not be any simpler.  Why?  Because you are going let your crock-pot do all of the work!  YES! No standing there, constantly stirring.  No double boilers.  You are just going to dump and go!  It is that easy!

I can't wait to share this amazing sweet treat with you, so let's get started!

Crock-Pot Peanut Clusters:
*Prep Time:  5 min.  *Cook Time: 90 min.  *Difficulty:  Easy  *Servings: approx. 50 clusters

Ingredients:

  •  1 16 oz. container of Unsalted Peanuts
  •  1 16 oz. container of Salted Peanuts
  •  1 bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  •  4 oz. bar of Milk Chocolate, chopped
  •  6 cubes of Vanilla Almond Bark

Are you ready for this?
It is going to go by pretty fast, so hang on to your hat!
Pour the peanuts into you crock-pot.
The reason I used salted and unsalted is to balance the flavor.  You don't want salty clusters, but you don't want bland ones either.  This way everything stays balanced.

Pour in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Chop the milk chocolate bar.

Add the chopped milk chocolate to the crock-pot.

Now add 6 cubes of the vanilla almond bark.
(You will have 6 left.  YAY!  You can pop it in the freezer to use next time!

Put the lid on the crock-pot.

Turn the heat on high and wait 90 minutes.

After 90 minutes this is what it will look like.  You will think to yourself "This is not done."  Trust me, it's finished.

This is my friend Catherine!  She came over to help me make candy yesterday!

Next use a rubber spatula to stir it all together.

Line some baking sheets with wax paper and spoon your clusters onto the pans.

Let them cool until the chocolate has set.
This takes 1-2 hours, but can be done a little quicker in the fridge.

OH WOW!  Look at that!
These clusters are perfectly sweet and salty.  Pardon me while I take a bite.  I just can't resist!

These Crock-Pot Peanut Clusters are perfect for the office, class parties, that special someone, or just for yourself.  So don't deny your chocolate cravings!  Get in the kitchen and make these candies tonight!

And as always...
