Grilled Antipasto Pizza

Whether you're hosting a backyard barbecue or simply craving something new, my Grilled Antipasto Salad Pizza is sure to impress.  I can't wait to share it with you so...

Let's Get Started!

WHY GRILLED PIZZA?

Grilling adds a delightful char and smoky essence to pizzas that can't be replicated in an oven.  It's a perfect technique for creating crispy crusts and infusing your toppings with that unmistakable grilled flavor.  Plus, it's a fun way to enjoy outdoor cooking with friends and family.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Tomato Sauce (Find my recipe HERE)
  • Pizza Dough (Find my recipe HERE)
  • 8 oz. Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 link of Grilled Smoke Sausage
  • 1 Green Pepper, sliced
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced
  • 1 c. Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 c. Black Olives, sliced
  • Banana Pepper Rings
  • Sun-Dried Tomatoes packed in olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Prepare the Grill:  Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it's clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
  2. Roll Out the Dough:  On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape and thickness.  Place on the backside of a lightly floured baking sheet.
  3. Grill the Dough:  Brush one side of the dough with olive oil and place it directly on the grill, oiled side down.  Close the lid and grill for 3-5 minutes until the crust has grill marks and it firm enough to flip.
  4. Add Toppings:  Brush the grilled side of the dough with the tomato sauce.  Add your favorite antipasto toppings and a layer of Parmesan cheese.
  5. Grill Until Done:  Close the grill lid and cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is cooked through.
  6. Serve and Enjoy:  Slice your Grilled Antipasto Salad Pizza and serve hot.  The combination of flavors-smoky grilled crust and savory antipasto will delight your tastebuds.

TIPS FOR THE BEST GRILLED ANTIPASTO PIZZA:
  • Homemade Dough:  While store bought dough will work for this recipe, I highly recommend taking the time to make your own.
  • Fresh Toppings:  Using as many fresh produce as possible will really enhance the flavor of your pizza.
  • Fresh Greens:  Another great addition to this pizza would be some lovely romaine lettuce or arugula.

Grilled Antipasto Salad Pizza offers a delightful twist on traditional pizza, showcasing the best of summer flavors with a satisfying crunch.  Whether as a main dish or a crowd-pleasing appetizer, this recipe is a testament to the joys of outdoor cooking and creative culinary combinations.  Try it out at your next barbecue and watch it become a new favorite among family and friends!

And as always,

Happy Eatin' Y'all!

  1. Pizza is a great product. We at our company cannot do without it. Our lunch ritual is to order pizza and eat it for all of our team (of course, except for those who are very strict about their figure [just kidding]). We work a lot remotely, and unfortunately, this does not happen often. Our company Argentics operates on the development and design of computer games and quarantine is not a hindrance.

  2. I'm not really into cooking with someone, I prefer to do everything myself because cooking is a pretty calming process, and I don't like getting distracted. I like to turn on the music that I download with Tubidy, there are many YouTube playlists that I enjoy, and for a few hours, I can just focus on cooking and forget about all my daily problems. After that, I can watch a movie with my family, but not while cooking.
