Crockpot Lasagne Soup Recipe

Have you ever seen one of those recipes that you are just a little skeptical of?  Yeah, me too and Lasagna Soup was one of them.  I mean, if I am going to eat lasagna, I'm just gonna make a lasagna.  Well, curiosity finally won out and I tried my hand and throwing something together based on various techiques I had seen online.  Basically I was just using what I had on hand.  lol  The one thing I did to make things easier on myself was to make this in the crockpot.  Oh yeah, that choice made for light work and let me just say, the soup was worth the hype.

Rich, robust, creamy, silky, straight up luscious this Crockpot Lasagna Soup Recipe hit all those classic notes I was wanting, but with the ease of a soup...MADE IN THE CROCKPOT!  And news flash, I didn't even brown the meat first *gasp*! I think you're really going to like this one.  Let me show you how I made it.

TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:

Q: Can I use chicken or ground beef instead of sausage?

A:  Sure thing.  Sausage is just our meat of choice when making lasagna.

Q:  Do I have to use Beef Broth?

A:  No, you can use chicken, veggie, whatever you like.  You can even just use water.  The broth is just to add more great flavor.

Q: Do I have to use lasagna noodles?

A:  Nope.  Used any pasta you like. No more than 8 ounces though.

Q:  Can this be made vegan/vegetarian?

A:  Yes, you can either leave out the meat or use a plant-based alternative.  Also swap the dairy cheese for vegan cheese.
