Crockpot Million Dollar Pasta Recipe

I am in this crazy busy season of life where I am working full time, momming, I'm a wife, a blogger etc.  Needless to say I don't always have time to cook fancy meals.  That's why I love recipes like this Crockpot Million Dollar Pasta Recipe.

A scoop of the crockpot million dollar pasta on a white plate with a salad and garlic bread.

It's cheesy, creamy, hearty, and you just throw it all in the slow cooker, even the pasta!  This is about to be on your weekly rotation and here is how I make it.

TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:

Q:  Do I have to use Italian Sausage?

A:  No.  You can use ground beef, ground turkey, even vegan minced meat. I do however think the spicy Italian sausage help cut through the richness of all the cheese.

Q: I'm not a fan of cottage cheese.  Can I use something else?

A:  Yes.  You can substitute cottage cheese for ricotta or omit it all together.  It really won't change the flavor all that much.

1.  This is a very rich dish so something spicy like spicy Italian sausage really adds to it.

2.  We like adding things like spinach or broccoli to this because veggies are never a bad thing.

3.  If you have it use broth in place of the water.  Again.  It adds a lot of flavor.

  1. Wow, very cool recipe. I was looking for something simpler, but now I will run to the store and to the kitchen.
