When I'm super busy I love meals that allow me to cook once and eat twice. Yep, take-two recipes are the best and these Roast Beef Sliders are one of my favorites!
Using the leftovers from my Mississippi Pot Roast Recipe, I spruce up a few pantry ingredients and voila, an easy weeknight meal. I know you're gonna love it so...
Let's Get Started!
For this Roast Beef Slider Recipe you will need a few simple ingredients:
- 2-3 c up leftover Pot Roast, finally chopped
- 1 package of Sweet Hawaiian Rolls
- Provolone Cheese, sliced
- 1/2 c Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Prepared Horseradish
- 4 Tbsp Butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
To begin you will need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Next slice the sweet Hawaiian rolls in half through the middle.
Cover the bottom layer of the rolls with the cheese.
I like placing the cheese on the bottom of the rolls because it keeps the bread from getting soggy.
Next, take your leftover pot roast and finely chop it.
One thing I didn't do here that I would recommend is heating the roast beef up. Simply add it to a sauce pan with a little water or beef broth and simmer long enough to take the chill off.
After that, spread the finely chopped roast beed over the bottom half of the rolls with cheese.
Next, in a small bowl combine the prepared horseradish and mayonnaise.
Spread the mayo mixture over the top half of the rolls and place on top of the roast beef.
In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the onion powder and Worcestershire sauce.
Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Place the Roast Beef Sliders on a baking dish and put into the preheated oven.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melty and the rolls are golden brown.
And there you have it, a delicious Roast Beef Slider Recipe that the whole family will love! No one would ever believe this is a take two recipe!
I like to serve mine up with some of my Homemade Sweet Potato Fries, but no matter what you serve them with these Roast Beef Sliders are going to be a hit and perfect for the upcoming football season so get in the kitchen and give them a try tonight!
And as always...
