Bacon Chicken Ranch Casserole Recipe

Can you believe we are already in November!?!  I can't.  This year just seems to be passing us by so quickly.  With everything in me I'm trying to slow down and savor the moments as they come, but it gets harder and harder especially since Christmas started poking its head out around the beginning of September.  One thing I am certain about is the fact that November just lends itself to casseroles.  Here in West Virginia we LOVE a good casserole.  I think it's because they're easy, always tasty, and can be prepared in advance.  Take this Bacon Chicken Ranch Casserole Recipe for example.

Using a few simple ingredients you probably have on hand, this meal is ready in no time, and its something the entire family will love.  I know you're gonna wanna try this one so...

Let's get started!

For this Bacon Chicken Ranch Casserole you are going to need a few simple ingredients:

  • 2c Cooked Chicken
  • 6 Slices of Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 lb Pasta
  • 1 15 oz jar of Alfredo Sauce
  • 1/2 c Ranch Dressing
  • 1/4 c Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 c Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Next, you will need to place the bacon into a cold pan.  Turn the heat to high and let the bacon fully cook, getting nice and crisp.

Another thing I did to save time was cooking my pasta in my instant pot.

Simply pour the pasta into the insert and add 2 cups of water along with a teaspoon of salt.
Place the lid on the Instant pot and press MANUAL for 5 minutes.  Do a quick release when the time has elapsed and the pasta will be perfectly cooked with no need to drain!

Once the bacon is fully cooked and crisp you can remove it from your pan and place on a paper towel.

Now you can begin to assemble the casserole.

My pan is oven safe, so I am making it in there, but if yours is not just do all of this in a 9x13 baking dish.

Also, I knew I had a couple recipes this week that needed cooked chicken, so I made a big batch in the instant pot and shredded it.  HUGE time saver!  If you don't have an instant pot you can boil it, roast it, whatever you choose and save in the refrigerator.

Add the cooked chicken to the pan.

Now add the ranch, alfredo sauce, and parmesan cheese.

Stir everything together.

Add the salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Stir that together as well.

Add the cooked pasta.

Stir it into the chicken and sauce.

Now sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top as well as...

a little parmesan.

I like to add a little of the bacon grease over the top to help the cheese get crispy.

Cover and place in the preheated oven.

Bake for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes this is what the casserole will look like.

I like for my cheese to be a little brown and bubbly, so I place it under the broiler for a couple minutes.

Sprinkle the cooked bacon and some fresh parley over the top and you are ready to eat!

Cheese, ranch, bacon, pasta, there is NOTHING about this meal that you won't love.  This Bacon Ranch Chicken Casserole is truly something that will be a weekly favorite, so get in the kitchen and give it a try tonight!

And as always,
