How to Make Perfect Grilled Chicken Recipe

I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that I love having people over for dinner. The reality is that most of my friends "don't" cook.  So when I'm in the kitchen people are ALWAYS gathered around watching me do, well, what I do. lol  The thing that amazes most of my friends is how simple chicken is to make.  I'll be honest, I've never really thought basic grilling of chicken would be something y'all would want me to talk about.  However, in a recent survey I did on Facebook, this was one of the most requested things.  So here's my recipe for How to Make Perfect Grilled Chicken.

Tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, this chicken comes out great every time!  I know you're gonna love it so...

Let's Get Started!

This "recipe" is super simple and you probably already have everything you need in your pantry.

  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Kosher Salt

To begin you will need to place your chicken into a resealable bag.

Add the lemon pepper seasoning.

I usually use a teaspoon per 4 breasts.

Next, add the extra virgin olive oil.

About a 1/4 cup per 4 breasts.

After that, add 1 tsp of kosher salt.

Then, seal up the bag and massage the chicken so that everything is coated in the "marinade".
Roll the bag up and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to overnight.

When you are ready to grill, place the chicken on a medium/high grill at an angle and grill for 4 minutes.

For the criss-cross grill marks, turn the chicken to the other angle and grill for 4 more minutes.

After 8 minutes flip the chicken and cook for another 6-8 minutes until the juices run clear and the internal temperature reads 165 degrees.

Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes.  Then you are ready to serve any way you choose.  It's that simple.  I have never had this technique fail and the chicken comes out delicious every time!  So this weekend fire up the grill and give this Perfect Grilled Chicken Recipe a try!   You won't regret it.

And as always...
