Okay, it's Friday night. (Well, any night really.) You're absolutely exhausted from the week, and don't want to cook. The only problem is that you don't really have a lot of money to eat out either. WHAT DO YOU DO!?! Girl, I got you! This is when you go to your pantry, Because there is one thing I ALWAYS have on hand and that is ready made pizza crusts.
There are no real rules to pizza. No matter what you have available to you, you can make a pizza out of it. That's where this SIMPLE BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA was born! I know you're going to LOVE this recipe (if you can really call it that) so...
Let's Get Started!
Simple BBQ Chicken Pizza:
*Prep Time: 5 min *Cook Time: 18-20 min *Difficulty: Easy*Servings: 8 slices
Ingredients:
- 1 Premade Pizza Crust (You can also use fresh if you want)
- Fully Cooked Chicken, Shredded
- BBQ Sauce
- Sharp Chedder, Shredded
- Colesalw, optional
To begin you will need to preheat your oven to 425.
Now you will place your remade crust on the counter.
You can totally use a fresh crust for this, and I have a WONDERFUL recipe for that ((HERE)). I am just keeping it REAL simple tonight.
After that you will spread a little bit of your favorite BBQ sauce all over the crust.
Again, you can use homemade and I will share my dad's famous sauce recipe ((HERE)).
Now sprinkle the fully cooked chicken all over your pizza. This was left over from some BBQ chicken I had made recently. I always try to make and extra piece of chicken to have in the freezer for moments just like this.
Another option is the fully cooked chicken strips from the store.
Top your pizza with the cheddar cheese and place in the preheated oven for 18-20 min.
However, you may want to check the directions on the crust your choose.
Once your pizza has finished cooking, remove it from the oven.
Now add a little coleslaw. This can be store bought, or I have a SUPER quick and easy homemade version ((HERE)).
After that I drizzled a liiiitttllle more BBQ sauce over it to make it pretty and there you have it!
This Simple BBQ Chicken Pizza was SO good and couldn't have been easier. I liked it SO much that I served it to the girls at my planner group and they all raved about it! So the next time you don't feel like cooking and are low on cash, give this pizza a try!
And as always...
