Chicken and Spinach Naan Bread Pizza Recipe

I love when I feel truly inspired by a recipe!  The other day I was watching This Crazy Life on Youtube and she was showing how they make pizzas using naan bread.  I was like HOLD THE PRESS, WHAT!?!  This is brilliant and why haven't I been doing it?  I picked up some naan bread from Aldi on my next trip and this Chicken and Spinach Naan Bread Pizza Recipe was born!

I love this recipe because it's everything you love about pizza without all of the guilt!  Not to mention is SUPER simply and quick to get on the table.  I can't wait to share it with you so...

Let's Get Started!

Chicken and Spinach Naan Bread Pizza Recipe:
*Prep Time: 30 min  *Cook Time: 10 min *Difficulty: Easy  Servings: 4 pizzas

Ingredients:

The ingredients needed to make the Chicken and Spinach Naan Bread Pizza Recipe.

  • 4 pieces of Naan Bread
  • 2 Fully-Cooked, Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breasts, chopped
  • Fresh Baby Spinach
  • Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Balsamic Glaze (optional)
To begin you will need to preheat your oven to 425 degrees.

Two pieces of naan bread on a baking sheet.

Next place your naan bread onto a baking sheet.
I typically fit two pizzas per sheet.

A piece of naan bread with extra virgin olive drizzled on top of it.

After that I drizzle a little of the oil over the bread.
This helps the bread to crisp up while adding flavor.

A jar of garlic powder.

Next I season the naan bread with a little garlic powder because you can't have pizza without garlic.
I'm pretty sure that's a rule somewhere.

Fresh baby spinach on top of the naan bread.

Now you will add the spinach.
You can add as much or as little as you like.  As you can see I went all in for this one!

Cubed pieces of cooked chicken on top the naan bread pizza crusts.

On top of the spinach you will then add the chopped chicken.

You can use any kind of fully cooked chicken you like here.  However, if you don't have any fully cooked chicken on hand, simply place your chicken on a baking sheet, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 30 minutes on 425.  Let it cool and chop it up! It couldn't be easier.

Shredded mozzarella cheese on the naan bread pizza crusts.

Once the chicken is on the pizza you add the mozzarella cheese.

A block of fresh Parmesan cheese.

You don't have to do this next step, but I'm extra so I added some freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Give each pizza another little drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and...

Place into the preheated oven.

The oven reading 425 degrees with a timer set for ten minutes.

Bake for 6-10 minutes.

And viola!  You have a delicious Chicken and Spinach Naan Bread Pizza!

The naan bread is the PERFECT crust for this personal-sized pizza.  Crisp on the outside, chewy in...it's a true masterpiece.

The toppings are my favorite part.  Savory chicken, fresh spinach, creamy cheese!  Okay I may or may not have just drooled a little!  lol  ðŸ˜œ  Oh, and to make it even better I drizzled a little balsamic glaze over the top. YUM! You're going to LOVE this Chicken and Spinach Naan Bread Pizza Recipe so get in the kitchen and make it TONIGHT!

And as always...

  2. Mandee, do you oil both sides of your naan? I've only tried making pizza with it one time before and the bottom crust just didn't get crunchy. I even tried par-baking it without any luck. So anxious to try your recipe!!

Love ❤️ your recipe..I now use a brushing of creamy Caesar salad dressing to start instead of olive oil on bottom of naan…WOW..garlic, oil and parm! And chicken was leftover Bbq rotisserie pieces…( but I won’t tell from which huge warehouse chain..lol)
